Give the Gift of a Lifetime
As you may know, the Zoo’s presence at Grassmere was founded in a legacy gift from Margaret and Elise Croft, the last remaining descendants of the property’s original owner. The sisters often spoke of the importance of the land which they considered far greater than its monetary value. It was their love and respect for the property that led them to donate the farm, which eventually became home to our Zoo, to the people of Nashville. Given the Croft family’s significance to Nashville Zoo, it seems extremely befitting that the planned giving society be named in their honor. Doing so allows us to share the historic nature of the property while ensuring that the Croft legacy continues in perpetuity.
Join the Croft Society
Please consider including Nashville Zoo in your estate plans, and become a member of the Croft Society. No matter the size of the gift, which may include bequests, charitable trusts, beneficiary designations, or remainder interest in a residence, donors will be remembered as friends and benefactors of Nashville Zoo for generations to come.
