There is always fun to be had at Nashville Zoo.
Besides roaming our trails, grabbing a bite to eat, visiting our veterinary center, taking a spin on the carousel, feeding the lorikeets, and petting the goats - we have a variety of Keeper Chats where you can learn all about your favorite animals from our Zookeepers!
Clouded Leopard OR Red Panda Keeper Chat

Clouded leopards are the top predators in their range and help control populations of prey species. They are solitary hunters active largely at night. Similar to other leopards they are great climbers and can usually be found in trees that they use to hunt and as resting places. Little is known about their breeding behavior but it is thought that they can mate year-round. Red pandas are native to mountainous regions of southwestern Asia. They were once thought to be related to raccoons and giant pandas, but research has now put them in their own animal family, Ailuridae. You can visit our clouded leopards and red pandas on the Bamboo Trail.
